Born from a two-month waitlist

In 2023, we could not get our own dog groomed. Every salon nearby was booked out two to three months, and as busy professionals, drop-off grooming never fit our days anyway.
We had seen mobile grooming work beautifully elsewhere, in Venezuela and in Miami, and we knew the GTA deserved the same. Maria, a doctor by training in Venezuela, became a certified groomer. Gabriel built the operation around her craft.
The first van hit the road in 2024. Today three vans roll through GTA West seven days a week, kept busy by repeat customers and word of mouth.
The name? "Dogtor" is a play on doctor, a nod to our family's medical roots and a promise about the kind of care your dog gets in the van.
One groomer, one dog
The same hands from hello to goodbye wag. Like a barber who knows your dog.
Cage-free, always
There is no cage in the van. Your dog is worked with, not stored.
Comfort is equipment
Dedicated heating and AC, heated water, cameras. Comfort you can verify, not a slogan.
Proof over promises
6,800+ pets groomed, photos and a report after every visit.
The little guy on our vans has a name tag with a "G". He is the first face most neighbourhood kids point at, and the reason half our customers found us: they simply saw the van.
Meet the van in person
Check your postal code, pick a time, and the van does the rest.
